      About half of people with epilepsy in the UK are seizure free. With the right treatment, an estimated 70% could be seizure free

      After you’ve tried 2 or 3 epilepsy medicines the possibility of getting full seizure control with medicines goes down

      When epilepsy isn’t controlled by taking epilepsy medicine doctors might suggest other treatments like epilepsy brain surgery, vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) or the ketogenic diet
